Visiting Sick Children - November, 2013 Cambodia
Qurban 2013 Completed Successfully!
Alhamdulillah, with your help and by the Will of Allah (SWT), this year we have distributed 3565 Qurban bags to needy Muslim families all across Cambodia. At a minimum of 5kg of meat per bag, and with an average of 7 people in each family, we reached approximately 25,000 people this year. We also had a general distribution of 3 tonnes of meat carcass in addition to the above.
All animals for Qurban 2013 were sourced from local farmers in Cambodia. In this regard, we had a significant and positive impact on the local economy.
World Orphan Fund reached almost double the amount of people it reached last year, and triple the amount of people it reached in its first year.
We at World Orphan Fund would like to sincerely thank you for your contribution, and for bringing a smile to the faces of the children here.

University Sponsorships 2013
A Special Thank you message to Macquarie University Muslim Students Association (MUMSA) for your kind generosity. Through your sponsorship, you have empowered these women with an education they could before only dream of!
World Orphan fund would like to thank everyone who supported and donated to our 2012 campaign, ‘Qurban for the orphan and the needy program’.
Alhamdulillah, with everyone’s hard work, sincerity and selflessness, our 2012 Qurban campaign has been our most successful yet. According to our continued field studies, we have been able to feed more orphans and the needy than ever before.
An unprecedented total of 2,642 poor and deserving individuals received 7Kgs of Adhiyah each, amassing over 18.5 tonne. The community we work with has never heard of such large quantities of Qurban being available for distribution.
All praise is due to Almighty Allah(swt) for showering our hard work with his blessing and allowing us to achieve so much in such a little time. We also thank Allah(swt) for allowing to remain committed and staunch on our 100% donation policy.
We may not have broken our previously raised amounts but that has only raised the bar higher for us in years to come and as such, we welcome and early donations towards Qurban 2013.
As a result of your generous support and donations, World Orphan Fund was able to feed 20,147 people last Ramadan.

Orphan Visit 2011
During our visit in November 2011, we managed to accomplish many tasks and put a smile on thousands of faces. One of our few accomplishments was the distribution of several tonnes of rice to those living in impoverished conditions. Another project included our ‘Smile for Sunnah’ campaign, which involved the mass distribution of dental care products along with tutorials on Oral Hygiene, to our villages in Cambodia.
Prior to our visit in November 2011, we successfully managed to send a full container of clothing and bedding materials. We also sent a dozen computers and Kindle E-books which were received in Pnomh Penh and distributed to our beloved students, to assist in their educational endeavours. This project contributed to our long-term education plan, and assisted in sending some of our orphans to university in Pnomh Penh. They are currently undertaking courses of various fields such as medicine, education, accounting and nursing.

Our First Visit to Cambodia
This was our first visit to Cambodia. It provided us a value opportunity to meet the lovely faces of our orphans as well as gather much needed information to help us understand the cultural, economic and social factors affecting life in the region.
